Peter Wolf

Peter Wolf (born March 7, 1946) is an American musician and actor. He is best known as the lead vocalist of The J. Geils Band from 1967 to 1983 and for his successful solo career. Born Peter Walter Blankfield in The Bronx, New York, he attended the High School of Music & Art in Manhattan, where he was influenced by soul, rhythm & blues, and gospel music. Wolf later moved to Boston, Massachusetts, to study painting at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts. In addition to his music career, he has also appeared in various TV shows and movies, showcasing his talent as an actor.
