Peter Eric Zizzo (born February 22, 1966) is an American songwriter, music producer, musician, and writer. He is also known for his work as a stage and television actor. In 2021, Zizzo appeared in the Showtime series Billions. Throughout his career, Zizzo has written hits for numerous artists, including Celine Dion, Avril Lavigne, Jennifer Lopez, Marit Larsen, O.A.R., Jason Mraz, Donna Summer, Diana Ross, M2M, Cliff Richard, Clay Aiken, Howie Day, Kate Voegele, Jackie Evancho, Pixie Lott, Vanessa Carlton, and others. He has been credited with playing a key role in launching the careers of Avril Lavigne, Vanessa Carlton, and Pixie Lott. Zizzo has also produced songs for Nickelodeon and the Nick Jr. Channel, working on shows such as Middle School Moguls, The Fresh Beat Band, Blue's Clues & You!, and Winx Club.
