Petrea Celeste Burchard, also known as Celeste Burch, is an American actress. She gained recognition for her role as Ryoko Hakubi, a space pirate, in the Japanese animated series Tenchi Muyo!. Burchard began her acting career on stage, performing with prestigious production companies like Chicago's Second City and Victory Gardens theaters. She has appeared in various television shows including ER, Passions, The West Wing, How I Met Your Mother, Joan of Arcadia, The Guardian, and The Young and the Restless. Burchard also had a notable role in the black comedy film Death Becomes Her in 1992. She has studied Shakespeare at the Chicago Shakespeare Repertory and with the Royal Shakespeare Company at the British/American Drama Academy.
