Phil Collins

Philip David Charles Collins (born January 30, 1951) is an English singer, drummer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He gained fame as the drummer and later lead singer of the rock band Genesis, and also had a successful solo career. Collins achieved three UK and seven US number one singles as a solo artist between 1982 and 1990. His contributions to Genesis, collaborations with other artists, and solo work resulted in him having more US top 40 singles than any other artist in the 1980s. Notably, his popular singles include 'In the Air Tonight', 'Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)', 'One More Night', 'Sussudio', 'Another Day in Paradise', and 'I Wish It Would Rain Down'. Prior to his musical career, Collins began as a child actor and appeared in various roles, with his first major role as the Artful Dodger in the West End musical Oliver! at the age of 13.
