Philip John Keoghan is a New Zealand television personality, born on 31 May 1967. He is best known for hosting the American version of The Amazing Race on CBS since its debut in 2001. Keoghan is also the creator and host of No Opportunity Wasted, a television show produced in the United States, New Zealand, and Canada. In addition, he co-created and hosts the reality competition program Tough as Nails, which premiered on CBS in July 2020. Keoghan has won ten Primetime Emmy Awards for his work on The Amazing Race, where the show has consecutively won Outstanding Reality-Competition Program seven times. He was born in Lincoln, New Zealand, and spent part of his childhood in Antigua and Canada before returning to Christchurch.
