Phil LaMarr

Phillip LaMarr is an American voice actor, comedian, and screenwriter. He gained recognition as one of the original cast members on the sketch comedy television series Mad TV, where he stayed for five seasons. LaMarr has an extensive career in voice acting, having portrayed notable characters such as John Stewart / Green Lantern in Justice League, Hermes Conrad in Futurama, Samurai Jack in the eponymous series, Static Shock in Static Shock, and Wilt in Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. He has also lent his voice to various video game franchises including Metal Gear, Jak and Daxter, Darksiders, and Mortal Kombat. LaMarr's film appearances include Pulp Fiction, Kill the Man, Free Enterprise, Cherish, and Manna from Heaven. Born in Los Angeles, California, LaMarr is a graduate of Harvard-Westlake School and Yale University.
