Philip Ettinger is an American actor known for his notable performances in film and television. He rose to prominence for his supporting role as the troubled environmental activist, Michael, in Paul Schrader's 'First Reformed' (2017). He also portrayed Garrett Drimmer in the CBS All Access series 'One Dollar' (2018) and played the young-adult version of Mark Ruffalo's twin characters in HBO's 'I Know This Much is True' (2020). Ettinger took on the lead role of Cole Freeman in the cinematic adaptation of the Carter Sickels novel 'The Evening Hour' (2020), directed by Braden King. Born on September 8, 1985, in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, Ettinger attended Fair Lawn High School and pursued film directing at Emerson College before discovering his passion for acting.
