Philip Kiaran McGinley is an English actor born on June 6, 1981. He is best known for his role as Anguy the Archer in Season 3 of HBO's Game of Thrones. McGinley was born in Liverpool and grew up in Golborne, near Wigan. He attended various schools including All Saints Primary School, Golborne High School, Winstanley Sixth Form College, the Oxford School of Drama, and the Arts Educational Schools in London. McGinley has been involved in various theatre productions including The Changeling with Cheek by Jowl, Great Expectations with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Kes with the Royal Exchange, Manchester, and Canary at the Liverpool Playhouse. He has also appeared in several television shows including Dalziel and Pascoe, Hawking, Father Brown, and Coronation Street.
