Philip Perlman Biography
Philip B. Perlman (March 5, 1890 - July 31, 1960) was an American public servant and lawyer. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Perlman graduated from Baltimore City College in 1908 and went on to study political economy at Johns Hopkins University. He later earned a law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1912. Perlman began his career as a reporter for the Baltimore American and later worked as a court reporter and City Editor for The Evening Sun. In 1918, he became an Assistant Maryland Attorney General and served under Albert C. Ritchie. Perlman dedicated many years to public service, while also practicing law privately.
