Philip Rosenthal Biography
Philip Rosenthal (born January 27, 1960) is an American television writer and producer. He is best known as the creator, writer, and executive producer of the CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond (1996–2005). Rosenthal has also made a name for himself as a presenter of food and travel documentaries. He hosted the PBS series I'll Have What Phil's Having and the Netflix series Somebody Feed Phil. Rosenthal was born to a Jewish family in Queens, New York, and spent his childhood in New City, New York. He attended Clarkstown North High School and later graduated from Hofstra University in 1981. Before becoming a writer and producer, Rosenthal pursued acting in New York City.
