Joanna Gabrielle 'Pooky' Quesnel is an English actress, screenwriter, and singer. Born on April 30, 1966, in Eccles, Lancashire, Quesnel grew up with five siblings. She studied English at Oxford University before attending the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts. Quesnel's career in the 1980s included performing in Humphrey Carpenter's Vile Bodies band and a tribute concert to him.
