Portia Doubleday Biography
Portia Doubleday is an American actress known for her roles in various films and television dramas. She gained recognition for portraying Sheeni Saunders in the film Youth in Revolt (2009) and Chris Hargensen in Carrie (2013). Additionally, Doubleday appeared as Angela Moss in the popular USA Network television drama Mr. Robot (2015–2019). Born and raised in Los Angeles, Doubleday comes from a show business family, with both her parents being former professional actors. She attended the Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies and had her first on-screen role in the film Legend of the Mummy (1998). Despite early success, Doubleday's parents prioritized her education, and she completed high school before fully pursuing her acting career.
