Princess Nokia

Destiny Nicole Frasqueri, known professionally as Princess Nokia, is an American rapper and songwriter. She gained popularity with the release of her debut studio album, Metallic Butterfly in 2014, followed by the mixtape Honeysuckle in 2015. Princess Nokia rose to prominence with her 2017 studio album, 1992 Deluxe. She continued to make waves in the music industry with the release of the mixtape A Girl Cried Red in 2018 and two studio albums, Everything Sucks and Everything Is Beautiful, in 2020. Frasqueri, who identifies as Afro-Indigenous and is of Puerto Rican descent, overcame a difficult childhood, including time in foster care, to pursue her passion for music.
