Pruitt Taylor Vince

Pruitt Taylor Vince is an American character actor born on July 5, 1960, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is known for his roles in films such as Mississippi Burning (1988), Jacob's Ladder (1990), JFK (1991), Identity (2003), and Constantine (2005). Vince also played the character J.J. Laroche in the television series The Mentalist (2008–2015). In 1997, he won a Primetime Emmy Award for his guest role as Clifford Banks in the second season of Murder One. Vince began studying acting by chance after a computer error in his high school registration scheduled him for an acting class. He attended Louisiana State University. He has nystagmus, a condition causing involuntary eye movement.
