Pua Magasiva

Pua Magasiva (10 August 1980 – 11 May 2019) was a New Zealand actor of Samoan descent. He is best known for his roles as Shane Clarke, the Red Ranger from Power Rangers Ninja Storm, and Vinnie Kruse in the soap opera Shortland Street, where he acted alongside Sally Martin. Magasiva was born in Apia, Samoa, but raised in Wellington, New Zealand. He was the younger brother of actor Robbie Magasiva, who inspired him to pursue acting. Magasiva's career began with minor appearances on Shortland Street and a role in the Māori language series Aroha. In 2003, he landed leading roles in Power Rangers and Sione's Wedding. He also co-hosted the radio station Flava.
