R. Madhavan

Ranganathan Madhavan, born on June 1, 1970, is an Indian actor, writer, director, and producer known for his work in Tamil and Hindi movies. He has received numerous accolades including one National Film Award, four Filmfare Awards South, and one Tamil Nadu State Film Award. Madhavan gained recognition in Tamil cinema with his role in Mani Ratnam's Alai Payuthey (2000) and went on to establish himself as a romantic hero with films like Minnale (2001) and Dumm Dumm Dumm (2001).
