Rachael Atlanta Stirling (born May 30, 1977) is an English stage, film, and television actress. She has received two nominations for the Laurence Olivier Award for her work on stage. Stirling is known for her roles as Nancy Astley in the BBC drama Tipping the Velvet and Millie in the ITV series The Bletchley Circle. She has also made guest appearances in Lewis and an episode of Doctor Who, acting alongside her mother, Diana Rigg. Stirling was born in St Marylebone, London, to actress Diana Rigg and theatre producer Archibald Stirling. She attended Wycombe Abbey School and graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a BA in art history.
