Rachel Chagall, born Rachel Levin, is an American actress known for her roles in the film Gaby: A True Story (1987), where she portrayed Gaby and received a Golden Globe Award nomination. She gained further recognition for her portrayal of Val Toriello on the television series The Nanny (1993-1999). Rachel was born in New York City to a Jewish family. In 1982, she contracted Guillain–Barré syndrome but recovered sufficiently to star in Gaby: A True Story. Rachel is best known for her role as Val Toriello on The Nanny. She and her husband Greg Lenert, the show's stage manager, have twins - a girl and a boy. Rachel has also made guest appearances on Just Shoot Me!, Strong Medicine, and What I Like About You.
