Rachel Hollis

Rachel Hollis (born January 9, 1983) is an American author, motivational speaker, and blogger. She gained recognition through her self-help books, including Girl, Wash Your Face and Girl, Stop Apologizing. After high school, Hollis relocated to Los Angeles and worked at Miramax, where she met her future husband and co-founded an event-planning company called Chic Events. In 2015, Hollis gained viral fame on social media with an Instagram photo celebrating her stretch marks. Her book, Girl, Wash Your Face, blends memoir, motivational advice, Bible quotations, and relatable girl talk.
