Rachel Matthews is an American actress known for her roles in the films Happy Death Day and Happy Death Day 2U. Born on October 25, 1993, in Los Angeles, Matthews developed an interest in acting at a young age, inspired by Shirley Temple movies. She began her acting journey by taking tap and voice classes and later joined a local theater program. Matthews further honed her skills by studying acting at New York University Tisch School of the Arts. In 2017, she made her film debut in Happy Death Day, directed by her uncle Christopher Landon. Matthews has also appeared in various TV shows and continues to pursue her acting career.
