Rachel Roy

Rachel Roy is an American fashion designer born on January 15, 1974, in San Bernardino County, California. She was raised in Seaside, California, and attended Seaside High School. Roy started her career in New York City as a wardrobe stylist and interned at the fashion label Rocawear. She eventually became the creative director of the women's and children's divisions at Rocawear and met her future husband, Damon Dash. In 2004, Roy launched her own fashion collection. She received a Bollywood industry award for her contribution to American fashion in 2006 and was inducted into the Council of Fashion Designers of America in 2007. Rachel Roy is known for her talent and success in the fashion industry.
