Rachel Shelley

Rachel Shelley (born August 25, 1969) is an English actress, audio producer, and model. She is renowned for her role as Helena Peabody in the Showtime series The L Word and as Elizabeth Russell in the Oscar-nominated Bollywood film Lagaan. Born in Wiltshire, England, Shelley spent her childhood in Cambridgeshire and Malta. After graduating from the University of Sheffield with a B.A. Hons in English and Drama, she joined a local theatre company in Edinburgh and established a community theatre company in Sheffield. Shelley's notable appearances also include various TV shows and movies. She has gained acclaim for her versatile acting skills and continues to be an influential figure in the entertainment industry.
