Rachel Sweet

Rachel Sweet is an American singer, television writer, and actress. She was born on July 28, 1962, in Akron, Ohio. Sweet began her singing career at a young age, winning a talent contest at three years old. She recorded commercials and toured with Mickey Rooney, performing in Las Vegas as the opening act for Bill Cosby by the age of 12. In 1978, she released her first album, Fool Around, under Stiff Records. Although the album received critical acclaim, sales were poor. Sweet later transitioned to television writing and acting.
