Raf Mauro is an American film, television, and stage actor, as well as a playwright. He gained recognition for his role as Freddy in the 1982 film They Call Me Bruce?. Mauro started his acting career in 1972 with the film Keep It Up, where he portrayed the character Paul. He has made guest appearances on popular television shows such as Seinfeld, Jake and the Fatman, Cheers, The Golden Girls, Caroline in the City, Knots Landing, Saved by the Bell, Charles in Charge, Family Matters, and Full House. In addition to his acting work, Mauro authored three books between 1994 and 1997, focusing on monologues for preteens and modern kids. He has also written a play called A Good Day to Fly, co-authored with David Stansfield, which revolves around aviator Bessie Coleman. Furthermore, Mauro has showcased his talent in theater through comedy improvisational performances with The Magic Mirror Players Children's Show.
