    Ralph Richeson (July 6, 1952 – October 27, 2015) was an American actor, best known for his role as Richardson, the eccentric cook, on the HBO television series, Deadwood. Born in Peru, Indiana, Richeson began as an extra on the show before catching the attention of producer David Milch, which led to his recurring role. Richeson appeared in 20 episodes of Deadwood, which aired from 2004 to 2006. Aside from his acting career, Richeson was also a painter. He had two brothers, Robert and Harry. Ralph Richeson passed away on October 27, 2015.
