Randolph Powell (born April 14, 1950) is an American actor best known for his roles on television. He gained recognition for his role as a leading cast member in the science fiction series Logan's Run. Powell also made a notable appearance as Alan Beam in the soap opera Dallas. Born in Iowa City, Iowa, he was raised in Mason City, Iowa. Powell developed an interest in acting during his school years and performed in various plays. After graduating from high school, he pursued his passion at the University of Denver's theater program. Powell has also been involved in the Mason City Community Theatre and contributed to the establishment of their new facility.
