Raoul Bova Biography
Raoul Bova (born August 14, 1971) is an Italian actor known for his roles in both European and American films. He gained recognition in the 1993 film 'Piccolo grande amore' and went on to portray romantic male leads in subsequent years. Some of his notable American film credits include 'Under the Tuscan Sun' (2003), 'Alien vs. Predator' (2004), and 'The Tourist' (2010). Bova was born in Rome to a father from Roccella Ionica and a mother from Acerra. Before pursuing acting, he was a local champion in the 100-meter backstroke and served in the Italian Army's Bersaglieri corps. Bova studied acting with Beatrice Bracco and Michael Margotta while making his television and film appearances.
