Raven Shamira Goodwin is an American actress known for her versatile roles in both film and television. She made her debut in the comedy film Lovely & Amazing (2001), earning an Independent Spirit Award nomination. Goodwin then received a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for her performance in The Station Agent. Transitioning to television, she starred in the Nickelodeon comedy series Just Jordan (2007–2008) before gaining mainstream recognition with a recurring role on the sitcom Good Luck Charlie (2010–2014). Goodwin's breakthrough came with a leading role on the BET series Being Mary Jane (2013–2019), where she received critical acclaim. She has since appeared in the comedy series SMILF (2017–2019) and the television film The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel (2020).
