Ray Combs Biography
Raymond Neil Combs Jr. (April 3, 1956 – June 2, 1996) was an American stand-up comedian, actor, and game show host. He gained popularity in the late 1970s and became the second host of the game show Family Feud during its second run and first revival. Family Feud aired on CBS from 1988–1993 and was syndicated from 1988–1994. Combs also hosted another game show called Family Challenge from 1995 to 1996. Born in Hamilton, Ohio, on April 3, 1956, Combs was an actor, senior class president, and Boys State delegate in high school. He began his comedy career in Cincinnati and had a signature act of leading audience sing-alongs of sitcom theme songs.
