Ray Girardin Biography
Raymond George Girardin Jr. (January 23, 1935 – February 28, 2019) was an American film, stage, and television actor. Born in Wakefield, Massachusetts, Girardin served in the Marines for two years after graduating from Wakefield High School. He then studied theatre at Boston University and acted in summer stock theaters. Girardin began his career in New York before moving to Hollywood, California. He gained recognition for his role as Howie Dawson in the soap opera series General Hospital from 1968 to 1974. Throughout the 1970s to the 1990s, Girardin appeared in numerous films, including Max Dugan Returns, The Lonely Guy, and The Executioner's Song.
