Ray Goulding
Ray Goulding (1922-1990) was an American comedian best known for being one half of the comedy duo Bob and Ray, alongside Bob Elliott. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, Goulding began his career as a radio announcer, using the name 'Dennis Howard' to avoid confusion with his older brother. After serving in World War II, he returned to the entertainment industry and met his wife, Mary Elizabeth Leader, while stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Goulding and Elliott went on to have a successful career in radio, television, and film, entertaining audiences with their unique brand of humor. They were known for their improvisational skills and satirical sketches. Goulding and Elliott had four sons and two daughters.
