Raymond Albert Romano (born December 21, 1957) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and screenwriter. He gained widespread recognition for his role as Ray Barone on the CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, which earned him three Primetime Emmy Awards. Romano is also known for his voice work as Manny in the Ice Age film series. He created and starred in the TNT comedy drama Men of a Certain Age and had a recurring role in the NBC series Parenthood. Romano has also appeared in films such as The Big Sick and The Irishman. He currently stars as Rick Moreweather in the Epix comedy-drama series Get Shorty.
