Razaaq Adoti is a British actor, producer, and screenwriter, born on June 27, 1973, in Forest Gate, London. He began his acting career with a role as a police officer on the British television show, Press Gang. Adoti then gained recognition for his performances with the National Youth Music Theatre, including winning the Edinburgh Festival Fringe First Award for Aesop, A New Opera and playing Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls. He later studied acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Adoti's notable film credits include Amistad, directed by Steven Spielberg, Gangster No. 1 directed by Paul McGuigan, and Black Hawk Down directed by Ridley Scott.
