Rebecca Gethings

Rebecca Gethings is an English actress known for her roles in comedy films and television shows. She was born in 1976 in Alberta, Canada, and later moved to Berkshire, England. Gethings received her acting training at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. Notably, she has worked with Armando Iannucci on multiple occasions, including improvising with the US cast of Veep and playing Helen Hatley in the fourth series of The Thick of It. Gethings also appeared in episodes of Extras, directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, and in David Brent: Life on the Road. In 2017, she appeared in the film Mad to Be Normal, and in 2020, she made an appearance in the BBC soap opera Doctors.
