Rebecca Maria Hall (born 3 May 1982) is a British actress and filmmaker. She made her first onscreen appearance at age 10 in the 1992 television adaptation of The Camomile Lawn, directed by her father, Sir Peter Hall. Hall's breakthrough role came in Christopher Nolan's thriller film The Prestige (2006). She received a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in Woody Allen's romantic comedy-drama Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008). Hall has appeared in a variety of films, including Ron Howard's Frost/Nixon (2008), Ben Affleck's The Town (2010), and the superhero film Iron Man 3 (2013). She has also worked in stage productions, earning the Ian Charleson Award for her role in Mrs. Warren's Profession (2002).
