Redaric Williams

Redaric Williams, born Jimmie Williams, is an American actor, model, author, and musician. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Tyler Michaelson on the U.S. daytime drama The Young and the Restless. Born in Petoskey and raised in Detroit, Williams has four older sisters, a twin sister, and a younger sister and brother. He attended multiple high schools before graduating from Denby High School in Detroit. Initially a student athlete for the University of North Texas, Williams majored in business but discovered his passion for performing through drama and theater courses. He left college to pursue a career in acting, earning the nickname 'Red' due to his skin tone.
