Remya Nambeesan

Remya Nambeesan is an Indian actress and singer, primarily known for her work in Malayalam and Tamil films. Born in Chottanikkara, Cochin, Kerala, Remya comes from a family with a background in the performing arts. Her father, Subrahmaniam Unni, was a former theatre artiste. Remya began her career with minor supporting roles before landing her first lead role in the 2006 film Aanachandam, where she played a bold dance teacher. She has since appeared in various films, including Bachelor Party (2012) and Ivan Megharoopan (2012). Remya holds a bachelor's degree in Communicative English from St. Teresa's College, Ernakulam.
