Renee Props Biography
Renee Props (born February 15, 1962 in Cordell, Oklahoma) is an American actress known for her role as Ellie Snyder on the CBS daytime soap opera As the World Turns. She gained recognition among Seinfeld fans for her appearance as Lois in the episode 'The Race' from the 6th season. Props also had a notable role as 'Nicki' in the film Get Shorty alongside Danny DeVito and John Travolta. Her career started with a starring role in the French television series Les Enquêtes du Commissaire Maigret and later in John Hughes' 1985 film Weird Science. Props has made guest appearances on several TV shows including Law & Order, Silver Spoons, Knight Rider, Hill Street Blues, The Facts of Life, and more. Additionally, she was a regular cast member on Showtime's series, Hard Knocks, which also featured Bill Maher.
