Retta

Marietta Sirleaf, known professionally as Retta, is an American stand-up comedian and actress. She was born on April 12, 1970, in Newark, New Jersey, and grew up in Edison and Cliffwood Beach. Retta is best known for her roles as Donna Meagle on NBC's Parks and Recreation and Ruby Hill on NBC's Good Girls. She has also appeared in various films and television shows and has performed stand-up on Comedy Central's Premium Blend. Retta graduated from Matawan Regional High School in 1988 and went on to earn a sociology degree from Duke University in 1992. She was raised as a member of the New Apostolic Church and discovered her talent for making others laugh while participating in the church's youth group.
