Rex Brown

Rex Robert Brown (born July 27, 1964) is an American musician best known as the longtime bassist for the heavy metal band Pantera. He joined the band in 1982 and became the longest-serving member following their reunion in 2022. Brown is also a former member of the supergroup Down (2001–2011) and was the bassist for Kill Devil Hill. In addition to his bass skills, Brown showcased his talents as a lead vocalist and guitarist in his debut solo album 'Smoke on This...' released in 2017. He is also an author, having written the book 'Official Truth 101 Proof' which delves into Pantera's formation, career, and disbandment.
