Rex Everhart Biography
Rex Everhart (June 13, 1920 – March 13, 2000) was an American film and theatre actor. He appeared in films such as Superman (1978) and Friday the 13th (1980), where he played the role of Enos the Truck-Driver. Everhart also provided the voice of Maurice, Belle's father, in the 1991 animated Disney film, Beauty and the Beast. On Broadway, he performed in productions including 1776, Chicago, Woman of the Year, and the revival of Anything Goes. Everhart was nominated for a Tony Award in 1978 for his role in the musical Working. He was born in Watseka, Illinois and studied theater at the Pasadena Playhouse and New York University.
