Rica Matsumoto

Rica Matsumoto (松本 梨香) is a Japanese actress, voice actress, and singer. Born in Yokohama, Japan, she is known for her work in both anime and live-action. Matsumoto was one of the founders of the anison band JAM Project. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Satoshi (Ash Ketchum in English translations), the main character of the anime series Pokémon. Additionally, she has voiced Ryo Bakura in Yu-Gi-Oh, Midori Kodama in Azuki Chan, and Aoi Futaba in You're Under Arrest. Matsumoto has also contributed to the Japanese Pokémon anime by performing various opening songs. With lead or supporting roles in numerous series, she has established herself as a versatile and talented performer.
