Richard Benjamin

Richard Samuel Benjamin (born May 22, 1938) is an American actor and film director. He has starred in well-known films such as Goodbye, Columbus (1969), Catch-22 (1970), Westworld (1973), and The Sunshine Boys (1975), for which he won a Golden Globe Award. Benjamin was also nominated for an Emmy Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for his work on He & She (1968). As a director, he helmed films such as My Favorite Year (1982), City Heat (1984), The Money Pit (1986), and My Stepmother Is an Alien (1988). Richard Benjamin has made significant contributions to both acting and directing in the film industry.
