Richard Beymer

George Richard Beymer Jr., born on February 20, 1938, is an American actor, filmmaker, and artist. Beymer is best known for his roles as Tony in the film adaptation of West Side Story (1961), Peter in The Diary of Anne Frank (1959), and Ben Horne in the television series Twin Peaks (1990-1991, 2017). He began his career in Los Angeles, acting on television and making his feature film debut in Vittorio De Sica's Stazione Termini (1953). Beymer was also under contract with David O. Selznick for a year and appeared in various television shows, including Cavalcade of America, Johnny Tremain, and Schlitz Playhouse. His notable performance in The Diary of Anne Frank solidified his talent as an actor.
