Richard Blais (born February 12, 1972) is an American chef, television personality, restaurateur, and author. He gained recognition for his appearances on the reality cooking show Top Chef, where he showcased his unique take on classic American cuisine. Blais was the runner-up on the fourth season of Top Chef and later returned to win Top Chef: All-Stars. Born in Uniondale, New York, Blais began his culinary journey at a young age and honed his skills at various prestigious establishments, including The Culinary Institute of America, The French Laundry, and elBulli. Currently based in Atlanta, Georgia, Blais continues to make contributions to the culinary world through his restaurants and books.
