Richard Branson

Sir Richard Charles Nicholas Branson (born July 18, 1950) is a British business magnate, commercial astronaut, and founder of the Virgin Group. Branson displayed his entrepreneurial spirit from a young age, establishing his first venture, a magazine called Student, at just 16. In the 1970s, he founded Virgin Records, a chain of record stores that later became Virgin Megastores. Branson's Virgin brand experienced significant growth in the 1980s with the establishment of Virgin Atlantic airline and the expansion of Virgin Records. He also founded the Virgin Rail Group in 1997, which operated various passenger rail franchises. Branson's accomplishments have solidified him as a prominent figure in business and aerospace ventures.
