Richard Christy Biography
Richard Christy is an American drummer and radio personality, known for his work with various heavy metal bands and his time on The Howard Stern Show. Born on April 1, 1974, in Kansas, Christy developed a passion for rock and heavy metal music at a young age, picking up the drums at ten years old. He played in multiple bands during his school years. In 1992, he joined the group Public Assassin and began his music career. He later formed Burning Inside in 1996 and relocated to Orlando, Florida. Christy has also toured and performed with notable bands such as Acheron, Death, Control Denied, Iced Earth, and Leash Law. In 2004, he took a break from music and joined The Howard Stern Show in New York City. Additionally, Christy has written, directed, and acted in several independent films and has performed as a stand-up comedian.
