Richard Cordery

Richard Cordery is an actor known for his versatile performances in film, television, and theatre. He has appeared in various TV shows including Rumpole of the Bailey, Doc Martin, Whitechapel, Garrow's Law, and Midsomer Murders. In the 2012 film Les Misérables, Cordery portrayed Duc De Raguse. His notable film roles also include Uncle Desmond in About Time (2013). Cordery's career in theatre has seen him tackle numerous Shakespearean performances, such as Romeo and Juliet (1997), Henry VI (2000), and Richard III (2001). In the fifth season of The Crown, he portrayed Marmaduke Hussey, the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the BBC from 1986 to 1996.
