Richard Durden Biography
Richard Durden, born Mark Richard Durden-Smith on 8 February 1944, is an English actor known for his work in television, film, and stage. He received his education at Haileybury and Imperial Service College and later attended Merton College, Oxford in 1963. Durden has an extensive career and has appeared in numerous productions. Notably, he played the character Bashwood in the radio adaptation of 'Armadale'. Durden was previously married to Maria Aitken from 1968 to 1971 and later married actress Jane How in 1996. He also has an older brother named Jo Durden-Smith.
