Richard Hawley Biography
Richard Hawley is an English singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer. He was born on January 17, 1967, in Sheffield, England. Hawley began his musical journey as a member of the band Treebound Story during his school days. He later found success as a member of the Britpop band Longpigs in the 1990s. After the breakup of Longpigs, he briefly joined the band Pulp, led by his friend Jarvis Cocker. Hawley has released eight studio albums as a solo artist and has been nominated for a Mercury Prize and a Brit Award. He has collaborated with various artists, including Lisa Marie Presley, Arctic Monkeys, and Paul Weller.
